The region faces food insecurity, climate-induced disasters, biodiversity loss, and social inequalities. TARASA25 brings together policymakers, researchers, farmers, and private sector actors to promote resilient and sustainable food systems through agroecology and regenerative agriculture.

TARASA25 will:

• Raise awareness about agroecology and regenerative agriculture
• Support implementation of the ASEAN Policy Guidelines for Agroecology Transitions
• Share experiences from global, regional, and local initiatives
• Identify gaps in knowledge, policy, and financing
• Strengthen partnerships for sustainable food systems transformation

TARASA25 will advance the implementation of the ASEAN Policy Guidelines, which provide seven key leverage points—planning, farmer engagement, markets, capacity building, multi-stakeholder partnerships, research, and financing—to help member states integrate agroecology into their national food systems strategies.

Key themes include:

• Technologies and innovations for sustainable agriculture

• Evaluation and metrics for agroecology transitions

• Skills development and knowledge sharing

• Market and value chains for agroecological products

• Financing mechanisms and public-private partnerships

• Policy frameworks to scale agroecology

Participation is free of charge, but participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs. The organizers will provide welcome cocktail reception and daily lunches during the workshop. Speakers and presenters will have their travel and accommodation fully covered by the conference.

Organizations, projects, startups, and initiatives working on agroecology, regenerative agriculture, and food systems innovations are welcome to exhibit at the Innovation Fair. Details on application procedures, booth space, and setup guidelines will be shared on Innovation Fair. Exhibitors are responsible for their travel and accommodation, but the Innovation Fair participation is free.
